Scope
This policy describes the information ministry.bio processes when you visit the public site, create an account, build theological or ministry materials, publish a profile, purchase access, request a review, join an organization, contact support, or view a private snapshot.
A public-profile visitor or private-snapshot recipient may receive information directly from the account owner. The owner controls the published snapshot and is responsible for choosing appropriate content and recipients.
Information we process
- Account and profile information, including email, display name, contact details, and authentication records.
- Content you create, such as doctrinal answers, church statements, résumé details, testimony, philosophy statements, interview notes, profile and portfolio settings, and uploaded assets.
- Purchase, subscription, invoice, and refund status. ministry.bio does not store complete card numbers.
- Support, review, organization, invitation, export, and share-link workflow records.
- Security and operational records needed to protect the service, diagnose problems, and monitor private-share access.
- Limited page-usage analytics for public pages and the product workspace. Analytics exclude document contents, field values, and sensitive answers.
How information is used
- Provide authentication, autosave, versioning, exports, private sharing, reviews, organization features, and support.
- Process payments and provision or revoke entitlements based on verified Stripe events.
- Protect accounts, enforce access boundaries, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain audit records.
- Send requested transactional messages such as verification, reset, purchase, review, invitation, support, and deletion notices.
- Improve product reliability using aggregate, privacy-conscious events that do not contain document text.
Google account sign-in
If you choose Continue with Google, Google provides basic identity information through Supabase Auth: your name, email address, profile image, and a stable Google account identifier. ministry.bio and Supabase use that information only to create or locate your account, authenticate you, protect the sign-in flow, and display account information. We do not receive your Google password and do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google services.
Google identity information is stored with your ministry.bio authentication record and is handled under the same security, retention, deletion, and disclosure rules described in this policy. It is shared with Supabase as the authentication service provider and with other infrastructure providers only as needed to operate and secure the service. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence models.
ministry.bio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You may remove ministry.bio from the third-party connections in your Google Account and may delete your ministry.bio account from Settings. Removing the Google connection stops future Google sign-in but does not by itself delete your ministry.bio account or content.
Storage and service providers
We use service providers for account access, secure storage, site delivery, payments, email, and limited high-level web analytics. An external Bible passage service may be used only when you request passage text.
Document drafts are saved to your account rather than stored as application data in your browser. Your browser may retain the session information needed to keep you signed in.
Site analytics
ministry.bio uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate use of public pages and product screens. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and process a random browser identifier, device and browser information, general location, referring source, page views, and interactions such as scrolling, outbound clicks, downloads, site searches, and form starts or submissions. Google signals and user-provided data collection are disabled in our Analytics property.
Google Analytics receives page URLs and technical interaction details, but we do not configure it to collect document contents or the values people enter into fields. Analytics events do not include doctrinal answers, testimony, family details, review comments, email contents, passwords, or payment-card details.
Google acts as an analytics service provider and processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy safeguards. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where prior opt-in is required, we ask before allowing analytics cookies; until you choose, or after you decline, Google receives only restricted cookieless measurement signals. Elsewhere, analytics may run by default as described here. You can opt out or change your choice at any time through Analytics settings in the site footer, and you can limit or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings.
Retention and deletion
Account content is retained while your account is active and for documented operational periods after deletion requests, subject to backup, fraud-prevention, tax, payment, dispute, and legal obligations. Expired exports, private-share access records, and support records have separate documented retention schedules.
You may request account deletion in Settings. The process revokes shares, removes or schedules deletion of private files, and deletes related account records after required review-service handling.
Security
The service uses account-based access controls, private storage, protected downloads and passcodes, safeguards against abuse, and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Update account and document information from your account.
- Choose which fields and sections appear in a public profile, export, or private share.
- Revoke private links and disable downloads.
- Limit or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings.
- Request account deletion or contact support with a privacy question.
Children and sensitive information
The product is intended for adults developing theological, ministry, candidacy, or church materials. Do not upload unnecessary information about children, family members, references, or third parties. Privacy controls are provided for sensitive fields, but you remain responsible for appropriate disclosure.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and additional notice when appropriate. Privacy questions and jurisdiction-specific requests may be submitted through the Contact page.
