Agreement and eligibility
These terms apply when you access or use ministry.bio. You must be legally able to form a binding agreement and provide accurate account information. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
Purpose and ministry disclaimer
ministry.bio is a drafting, organization, and reflection tool. It does not replace Scripture, historic confessions, pastoral counsel, legal or tax advice, professional counseling, safeguarding obligations, or a church’s doctrinal and character examination.
The product does not determine whether a person is qualified or called to ministry. Compatibility notices are advisory. You remain responsible for every claim, credential, reference, doctrinal affirmation, and personal detail you submit or share.
Tools, templates, prompts, exports, personal profiles, and church materials are provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. ministry.bio does not represent, warrant, or guarantee that any individual or church use, document, policy, statement, profile, or other output satisfies applicable legal, regulatory, denominational, accreditation, employment, tax, safeguarding, governance, accessibility, recordkeeping, or other requirements. You are responsible for determining the requirements that apply to you or your church and for obtaining qualified professional advice where appropriate.
Accounts and acceptable use
The service, including personal profile URLs and private or shared URLs, is intended only for the theological, ministry, candidacy, church-document, portfolio, and related sharing purposes described on ministry.bio. You may not use the service or any ministry.bio URL for unrelated content or activities, deceptive or unlawful purposes, harassment, exploitation, spam, unauthorized advertising, abusive conduct, or any use inconsistent with the nature, design, or intended purpose of the service.
ministry.bio may investigate suspected misuse and may remove or disable content or URLs and restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or entitlement for a violation of these terms, including attempted or actual abuse. Except where required by applicable law or expressly provided in the Refund Policy, termination or removal arising from your violation, misuse, or abuse does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or other reimbursement.
If you use Google or another third-party identity provider to access the service, you authorize that provider and ministry.bio’s authentication service to exchange the basic account information needed to authenticate you. Your use of the provider remains subject to its terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for maintaining access to the provider account or adding another supported sign-in method before revoking it.
- Keep credentials secure and notify support of suspected unauthorized access.
- Do not impersonate another person, fabricate credentials, or misrepresent ministry outcomes.
- Do not probe, bypass, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with security and access controls.
- Do not upload malware, unlawful material, or content you lack permission to use.
- Do not use private links to publish broadly indexed content or expose another person’s sensitive information.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant ministry.bio a limited license to host, process, format, publish, export, and transmit that content solely to operate requested features. You are responsible for obtaining permission before including third-party photographs, references, contact details, or confidential information.
Authored doctrine clauses, templates, interface copy, product design, and software remain the property of their respective owners and may not be republished as a competing template library or service.
Purchases and entitlements
The Pastoral Candidate Portfolio Kit and Church Statement Kit are one-time purchases. Portfolio Hosting is a $6 monthly subscription available only after purchasing the Pastoral Candidate Portfolio Kit. Portfolio Review and seminary or group bundles are provided only by inquiry or quote. Paid access is provisioned only after a verified payment event. Prices, taxes, promotion rules, renewal terms, and any agreed review scope control over conflicting marketing summaries.
The Portfolio Kit includes builders, versioning, composition, and file exports but no ministry.bio-hosted URL. Active Portfolio Hosting is required whenever a private portfolio link or public or unlisted profile is created, republished, or viewed.
Organization-funded features may end when the organization is no longer entitled. A student retains ownership of existing work, although paid export or sharing features may become unavailable.
Human review services
Review services are limited-capacity professional feedback, not AI review, employment placement, pastoral endorsement, credentialing, or a promise of candidacy success. Initial feedback is due within three business days after a complete submission, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays. The same window applies to each included revision round; incomplete submissions pause the clock.
The reviewer holds Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies degrees and brings prior engineering, technical-writing, specification-writing, hiring, interviewing, and professional document-review experience. Reviews remain advisory and do not constitute denominational approval, ordination certification, academic evaluation, or legal advice.
Reviewers comment on the copy you submit and do not silently edit live documents. Internal reviewer notes are not part of the customer deliverable.
Private sharing and organizations
Private links reduce casual exposure but do not prevent a recipient from copying information they can view. Use passcodes, expiration, limited sections, and revocation when appropriate. Organization administrators may manage seats and assignments but do not receive unrestricted access to private drafts.
Profile usernames and publication
Active Portfolio Hosting includes one chosen ministry.bio username and one public or unlisted candidate profile. You must review and confirm the username before first publication. After publication, you cannot change the username yourself. Mistakes or exceptional support needs must be handled through an audited administrative process. Ending Hosting takes the profile offline after the paid period but does not delete the source project, downloaded files, or saved publication snapshot.
Availability and changes
The service may change, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. Reasonable efforts will be made to preserve user data and provide notice of material changes. External services, including Bible passage retrieval, may be unavailable without preventing core drafting work.
Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of candidacy, employment, doctrinal acceptance, uninterrupted availability, or error-free exports. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Termination and contact
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. ministry.bio may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or security risk, with notice when appropriate and without notice when immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or others.
